%tags Nokia’s market is badly shaken by the Mobile OSes like iPhone OS and Android over the last 2 years. They have proven a better usability and Nokia needs to improve a lot to catch up the market. Nokia has realized that they need to improve their UX and they are working on a new series of OS called “Symbian S^4” The first videos of this OS have emerged on internet. It’s not necessary that you should only use a CPU Cooler Peltier Plate for cooling the CPU only. it runs at 5 to 12 volts and that means it can be powered with a USB and you can also chill other things with it. How about chilling a drink via USB? PCF236.make.10-728-75

Neil Mohr of TechRadar has made this really cool USB fridge and tells you how to make it. You can get a Peltier heat pump on eBay for under £5(30W one) and power them with USB to make a mini USB fridge.

Besides this concept video from the ADR studios, there have been reports that iPhone 4G will have RFID. There were also rumors that iPhone 4G will be bigger then 3Gs.

Had this thought ever passed you that the OS that’s fuelling all these thousands and millions of servers worldwide would be worth if it’s undertaken as a commercial project? If it’s Open Source does not mean it’s development cost is zero. After all, it’s the fruit of years of community driven development. Two researchers have estimated the cost of replicating Linux kernel from the scratch at about 1.4 billion USD! Who said Open Source is free?

This one is for geeks: Ubuntu mobile 9.04 installed on Nokia N900 natively on a microSD or memory card as it’s better known. It comes with LXDE desktop which resembles the Windows UI but one thing you might notice: It’s not that fast. The installation is fully loaded and comes with the “Tear” browser for Ubuntu.

Get ready folks. According to a ‘reliable source’ Apple will start the presale of iPad from as early as 25th February i.e. only 4 days from now! It’s also rumored that Wi-Fi only version will be available for now which is actually great if you are not travelling much. Having said that, it’s also quite possible for 3G version to emerge but that would take a bit longer considering that some network (like AT&T) has to sign the 3G network subscription and  distribution deal with Apple.
