Finally after a long Beta period, Yahoo! has released the final version of it’s Messenger that comes with great new features. The final release came after several bug fixes with improved stability and it’s fully compatible with Windows 7.

The all new Yahoo Messenger comes laden with great new features and improved performance. Here’s a complete list of new and improved features:

High-quality video calls: Now you can make high-quality one-to-one video calls right inside the IM window. You can swap video windows, position the video windows side-by-side, mute the call or place it on hold. You can even go full-screen with your video call.

Get Updates from your contacts: We all know the new Y! Updates feature view in our Yahoo mail box. Now you can get updates from your contacts right in your contacts window in Yahoo Messenger. The updates include your contact’s Twitter and Facebook activities.

Change your language easily: Now you can use Yahoo in 16 different languages. You’ll notice a new language menu on the sign-in screen. Choose from 16 different languages and the buttons, menus and various parts of the interface will change to that language. If you’re already signed in, you can also change your language under Messenger > Preferences > Language (you’ll have to restart Yahoo! Messenger for it to take effect).

Make free PC-to-PC calls and PC-to-phone calls for as low as 1¢ a minute (plus free voicemail!)

Use the built-in media player to watch web videos and view photos with friends

Besides these new and improved features, the interface has been made sleek with different skins that you can apply.
