It is time Google should have done that and smartly enough they did it. Now you can upload files of upto 50mb in size (image, video, textual or anything classified as a file) using the new BLOB storage API that’s built on top of the existing DataStore API. It’s available for both Java and Python developers.
For those who still don’t know, BLOB stands for Binary Large OBjects. The pricing remains the same as before. For details on quota and pricing, you can refer to this. So developers who were constrained with file upload size limits and had to look for third party solutions don’t have to look anywhere else now. Who said Google is deaf?
