Phandroid has reported to have received OTA (Over The Air) update for HTC Incredible which has just been released a few days back but it seems that all the complaints littered on Verizon forums forced this OTA update. There has not been any major difference in the build versions and definitely it’s the same firmware so it seems to be a minor update (only 3.5 MB). Not all Incredible users have received it yet though.

Phandroid further reported that the download link shown on the update note is broken so there’s no chance of manually downloading this small update. Users have been reporting that their Incredible gets rebooted almost constantly. Here’s the complaint of one of the Incredible users reporting not so incredible side of HTC Incredible:

My incredible (purchased at the store this morning) kept rebooting... I took it back to the store and we tried three other phones and everyone of them would keep rebooting themselves...

Here are the photos shot before and after the OTA update. Only changes are in Build number and Software number (from 605.0 to 605.2)
