Is Microsoft to blame?

by Salman Ul Haq on August 5, 2008

When blogs like PerezHilton or political blogs like DailyKos goes down for a whopping 16 hours, something has to seriously go wrong somewhere. All the fingers were pointed to SiteMeter when these sites and alot many others started showing a blank page and an error code related to SietMeter widgets these blogs have added on their pages. SiteMeter has partially solved the problem but did not admit that any such problem occured officially.

PS : ProgrammerFish discovered that the problem was actually with IE users only as FireFox and Mozilla were running smooth. This IS quite alarming. Could this be the tip of an iceberg? a major bug in Mircosoft’s flagship browser?
