Google announced 6 new features for Gmail along with the ones that were in the development phase but won’t be added. They call that ‘graduation’ and ‘retirement’ respectively. Now Gmail will add video previews of all the YouTube video links you paste in your email. Besides, Auto complete has been added in the Gmail search.

Here’s the complete list of new features added:

1) Gmail search Auto complete:

Not only will it show the related words but also a reference alongside to make it all easier for you.

2) YouTube Video Previews

I just pasted the video links and it created the previews itself at the bottom of the page. This is surely convenient but could also be embarrassing at times.

The remaining three features are:

Forgotten Attachment dialog box: If you ever used the words “I’ve attached” or even just “Attached” in your email then you will get this message when you hit the send button:image

Like Yahoo and Hotmail, now you can set auto-responder when you’re on vacations. Go to Settings –> General –> Vacation responder:image

The remaining two features aren’t as useful as these additions.
