Microsoft Partners can now sign up for Microsoft Surface’s SDK and Simulator. The initial entry level (Microsoft Surface Community Members) provides access to the SDK and simulator, as well as training and other resources without any commitment.

Microsoft Surface Partner program is for those Microsoft Partners who offer dynamic applications, solutions, or service offerings. Microsoft wants these Partners to jump into development for Microsoft Surface to increase it’s boom and offer solutions to customers for the development of Microsoft Surface.

Microsoft Surface Partners may include a combination of any of the following:

Application Solution Development

• Custom applications — Engaging, custom-built, end-user applications that further differentiate a customer’s brand and build strong end-user loyalty.
• Packaged applications — Repeatable solutions that utilize the unique capabilities of Microsoft Surface technology to provide enhanced customer experiences across multiple industries or scenarios.

Service Providers

• Integration services — Integrate existing line of business or industry solutions that customers can use with the Microsoft Surface platform.
• User experience design — Design solutions that connect customer brands to a unique end-user experience.
