eleased the latest version of their web browser, Opera 10.5 for both Windows and Mac featuring a set of amazing updates and an amazing 7 times speed boost!
We have been covering different releases of Opera 10.5 prior to this final release and have also shown how Opera has achieved 7 times speedup through their new JavaScript Engine dubbed as “Carakan”.
How how does Opera achieve this speed? Simple. It compresses web pages on the fly and route them through it’s own powerful servers. You can see the whole list of new features added in the final release here.
The UI has added some amazing features for Windows 7/Vista users by making use of the Aero Glass. The Tabs can be enlarged to form thumb sized buttons for better preview of all the open tabs like this:
