Now you can ‘do’ photoshop on Android! Amazing? Photoshop has now become a verb just like Google or Twitter. How many times have heard people say they ‘phot%tagsoshopped’ an image? The reason for it’s success are the rich features that come laden with the app. From amateurs just looking for some fun to professional design studios, everyone uses Photoshop which probably could be termed as the most successful product by Adobe. So what now? Adobe has launched Photoshop Mobile app for Android! Seems like they have started to take Android seriously.

The Photoshop Mobile app for Android comes with the essential features like setting contrast, brightness, cropping an image, flipping and rotating and a couple of other features. What I really like about it is the share feature. You can share your edited images directly with friends with a FREE Photoshop.com account that comes with the app.

Here’s what you can do with Photoshop Mobile app for Android:

1) Browse Photos located on your phone and also Online photos located on your Photoshop.com account!

2) Open a photo in edit mode and do some cool editing like cropping/rotating, setting brightness etc:
%tags

3) You can save the edited photos and also Upload them to your Photoshop.com account. The uploading process is asynchronous which means you can put the photos on Upload and do other tasks on the phone without disturbing the upload process (something for which you have to Jailbreak on iPhone!):
%tags

4) You can view photos from your Photoshop.com account and can also mail the complete gallery!

This app is definitely going to be fun. It has almost all the essential editing features and would be fun to Photoshop your photos that you have just shot with your phone!

I hope they add the Share to Facebook and other Social Media features in the next release but for now it’s great!
