Even though there are many Feed Reader widgets out there and the competition is
stiff too but with the release of Google’s Reader Widget, which is yet another 20% project by Google’s James Yum, is going to be a pleasant addition to your Google Desktop.
The widget works on Google Desktop which you need to download and install if you still don’t have it. You can download it here.
The widget will automatically update every time you connect to the intern et or it can asynchronously update if you are connected,
meaning that you get live updates whenever a feed to which you’re subscribed is burned.
The widget has problems with rendering HTML due to certain limitations on Google Desktop (Yeah, MS won’t give them level playing field!) but it will take you to the page where you can read it all.
This will be a pleasant addition to your desktop.
