In a perfect world the need of unlocking the phone every time would not be required, there are alternatives to this though, there are many online vendors who are providing unlocks for as cheap as $15 but that rate varies from carrier to carrier. So, without further to do, follow these simple steps to get your device unlocked.

It seems like the rumors are really coming to life. Specially when these rumors form part of Chinese news stories. According to China Times (yes, it’s China Times this time!), the next iPhone dubbed as iPhone 5 has already gone into trial production stage at Foxconn and a leaked sample iPhone 5 suggests that it will have an overhauled metallic back cover that will help solve the reception problem so rampant in iPhone 4.

This is a fresh rumor roundup for the next iPhone, the iPhone 5. Normally I discard rumors especially since everyone’s posting something about the next iPhone but when these rumors come from a source that has proven to be a good intelligence source for iPod Touch then we better listen.

Earlier this year, Steve Jobs was grilled at the D8 regarding the faulty iPhone 4 antenna and he was not sure whether his engineers will come up with a fix. Initially, around the release of iPhone 4 when hundreds of thousands of users reported that they could not maintain their phone call for more then 30 seconds even in areas where they’re good coverage, Apple denied all that, blaming AT&T’s overcrowded networks but with time it became clear that iPhone 4 has some antenna issues.

Apple has just released iOS 4.0.2 update for iPhone which patches the PDF exploit that was used by JailbreakMe.com for jailbreaking iPhone 4. It’s been said that there is absolutely nothing new added in this minor iOS update other then the patch for the exploit. The update is simple and all you need to do is connect your iPhone to iTunes and wait for the popup (or click here to download iOS 4.0.2 directly).

Hulu Plus that was recently released by Hulu for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad was the only way to stream Hulu content (classic and new TV series) on your iPhone/iPod touch/iPad but the problem is its cost. Hulu Plus is expensive and even more for premium Hulu content for which you have to pay monthly subscription fee of $9.99. This problem will be solved very soon when PlayOn releases it’s app for iPhone and iPad.

The front and back facing camera on iPhone 4 have opened the gates for a million video chat apps. Chat-Roulette for iPhone 4 was a natural outcome of this new feature in iPhone 4. Now you can do live video chat with random people from around the globe using your iPhone 4. The only restriction, like in FaceTime is that both the ‘random’ persons need to have iPhone 4.

George Hotz, or @geohot as he is famously known has finally broken his silence on iPhone 4 jailbreak and has posted some fresh proceedings on his jailbreak. Prior to iPhone 4 launch, Geohot registered a domain name that resembled his one-click iPhone 2G, 3G, 3Gs and iPod Touch (2G and 3G non MC models) jailbreak tool Blackra1n. The new domain name was Limera1n. But ever since the release of iPhone 4, there was no update from Geohot on Jailbreak.

Fring has just been updated with the new version (3.2.0.5) and what’s different about it? You can now make 2 way video calls using Fring on 3G network and not only on Wi-Fi! When Steve Jobs introduced FaceTime, he said it was revolutionary and the very first time video calling has been made a reality on mobile phones but the problem was that you could not do FaceTime if you are not connected to a WiFi network.

A new day, a new issue discovered with Apple’s best selling iPhone ever – in fact, Apple’s best selling product ever. Boy Genius Report has ‘reported’ that an iPhone 4 caught fire, burnt and melted while it was being charged through the USB connector. There is no evidence of the circuit board mal function so the only thing that remains behind is the iPhone 4 itself. What will be Steve Jobs explanation this time?
