The Telegraph has reported that 30 people, mostly in the age group of 25 or less, have attempted suicide over the last 3 weeks alone at Apple’s iPad and other iDevices supplier factory, Foxconn. Foxconn has even sought help from a Buddhist “monk” to sort things out and cast away the evil spirits but it seems that the problem is arising more from pathetic working conditions and low wages rather then evil spirits.

This is now going out of Apple’s hands. After the EPIC story of pre-release iPhone 4G landing into the hands of Gizmodo for a goodly sum of $5000 (reportedly) and then we saw a video showing the external assembly of iPhone 4G and now: A VIETNAMESE website has got hold on pre-release iPhone 4G and it’s definitely not a prank, the thing is original. 100%

Running a small particle generation experiment to see FPS (Frames per Second) on my iPod touch 3.1.3 clearly shows that there’s marginal difference between HTML5 Canvas rendering engine optimized to run on Safari that comes with iPhone/iPod touch and iPad and plain old HTML and JavaScript. Moreover, HTML5 comparison on iPod touch and Nexus One is absolutely astonishing.

We have already posted a complete step-by-step guide on how to do untethered jailbreak of your iPod touch 2G/3G running any firmware. For those who do not know, untethered jailbreak means that you just have to jailbreak once and it will not be wiped off until you restore your iPhone. Up until now, all the jailbreak tools did tethered jailbreak which meant you have to jailbreak every time you rebooted or restarted your iPod touch.

limera1n

The news is that the domain Limera1n.com has been registered which has exactly the same WHOIS record and IP address as Geohot’s main Jailbreak tool website, Blackra1n.com and what’s more interesting is that it follows the same pattern that is, a lime colored drop whereas the Blackra1n has a black colored drop.

Android-running-on-iPhone

This was considered to be something next to impossible but a geek has finally made this unholy marriage a reality by porting Android to his iPhone 2G. It’s running fine except for some lags and he says that it will not be a problem porting this Android image to iPhone 3G and 3Gs but will he be able to port it to iPad? Anyways, he says that the ground work has been done and it will be easy to port “Google’s Android” to any of “iDevice”.

If there was one clip that was popular in the whole of tech world then it should be this one. Every time we have a leak or some weird tech news, it’s always Hitler who gets grilled. So what did he say on the recent iPhone 4 leak? Enjoy.

Finally here’s something that is confirmed beyond any doubt. Gizmodo got hold of iPhone 4G and it resulted in a big uproar among Apple fans and also resulted in Apple ‘requesting’ Gizmodo to return the device. Apparently, it seems like it is a marketing stunt from Apple since it’s the first time an Apple device got leaked before it’s official release. Anyways, now rumors and reality have been separated and we know what iPhone 4G will look like.

Yes, it’s now officially available at the Apple App Store. We first announced the news of Opera Mini submission to the App Store for approval and now Opera just announced that Apple has finally approved the “fastest browser on earth” for iPhone and iPod touch. There were doubts that Apple will not approve Opera because it competes with the native Safari browser for iPhone.

TheiPhoneDevTeam are the new entry into the iPhone hacking world. They have released a video showing an iPod touch 3G (possibly MC model) which they have jailbroken with their yet-to-be-released tool. So what’s so different? They claim that the Jailbreak is untethered!

adobe-vs-apple

The war between Adobe and Apple seems to be raging. With the release of iPhone OS4, the developer agreement now includes a complete section on which applications will be considered for inclusion into the App Store and Apple has specifically stated that “…only application written ORGINALLY in C++,  Objecttive C or JS” will be considered as iPhone apps. The rest can simply go to hell. Steve Jobs has seriously gone insane. period.

Bravo! Dev-team has done it again. This time again, the jailbreak demo came within 24 hours of the release of iPhone OS 4. Earlier it was Muscle Nerd of the infamous Dev-Team who ported Spirit jailbreak to iPad and then we also had a video showing Cydia app store running on jailbroken iPad and now it’s this guy showing Jailbroken iPhone OS 4.0. The tool for Jailbreaking is not available as yet and there’s no ETA announced as yet but here’s the video showing the Jailbroken iPhone OS 4.0:

It was not 24 hours hours and a jailbroken iPad was demoed by @Musclenerd who is a member of the infamous Dev-Team known for it’s Jailbreaking tools. Now another picture has surfaced showing Cydia which is an alternative to Apple App Store for the Jailbroken devices.
