Firefox 1.1 Beta also known as Fennec or Firefox mobile project is powered by the same engine as the latest Firefox 3.6 for Desktop but optimized to run smooth on a mobile device. Mozilla has released the first ever (Beta) version of it’s mobile browser but it’s initially available for Nokia N900 handsets.
This one is for geeks: Ubuntu mobile 9.04 installed on Nokia N900 natively on a microSD or memory card as it’s better known. It comes with LXDE desktop which resembles the Windows UI but one thing you might notice: It’s not that fast. The installation is fully loaded and comes with the “Tear” browser for Ubuntu.
Firefox for mobile has been announced and the first phone on which you can use it is Nokia N900.
