Microsoft had already announced that it will not be selling Windows XP to OEMs (Originimageal Equipment Manufacturers) after October 22, 2010 which is around 4 months away. Since Windows XP now only comes pre-installed on Netbooks, this means that there will no longer be Windows XP based netbooks in the market after October.

When you open a file, Windows will check the file extension and would invoke the Win7_Logoapplication  which is set as default for that extension, but sometimes it happens when you download email attachments or download something through torrents file extensions are messed up. Like many video files are in extension .DAT which no video player recognizes, for that you have to change the file extension.

DreamScene a utility which allows videos to be used as desktop background, it is one of the Ultimate Extras which can be downloaded from Windows Update in Windows Vista Ultimate.

DreamScene was removed from Windows 7 in favor of Windows SlideShow, but a little hack can make non-Vista-Ultimate versions such as Windows Vista Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Enterprise edition and editions of Windows 7 to use DreamScene too.
