In many cases BIOS’s do contain microcode patches for certain supported CPU that have known “firmware” bugs… it should be the case that Intel will develop a microcode patch and BIOS vendors will incorporate such a patch into updated BIOS images for end users to install.

:0 wow that is seriously scary even more so that it is something that you would need to buy a new computer to ensure protection this is seriously scary. Although still in order to get a virus /worm on ur pc u would have to download something so just be carefull what you download.
