WhatsApp has launched a free calling feature for some users, according to a Reddit user pradnesh07. WhatsApp free calls feature was something anticipated for a year because last year in February, WhatsApp announced that it will launch a new calling feature for iOS, Andorid and Windows platforms. The announcement was made in Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014. Since then, millions of WhatsApp users are waiting for the free calls feature, as the company said that it will be launched in the Q2 of the year.

The source has posted some photos which clearly show a phone symbol, depicting that the call feature for WhatsApp has been enabled. There has been no official confirmation of this news yet.

However, the source claimed that the new feature is only working on Android Lollipop 5.0, on a Vanilla device of Android, like Nexus 5.
