Windows 7 Sensor and Location Platform presentation

At WinHEC 2008 (Los Angeles) Gavin Gear(Program Manager Microsoft Corporation) gave a presentation that gives an overview of the  new Windows 7 Sensor and Location Platform.

Sensor and location platform in Windows 7 provides native support for sensor and location devices on Windows 7. This platform enables computer and applications to adapt to their current environment. With location sensors — including GPS devices, WWAN radios, and even triangulation technology.
